The Hecht Athletic Center underwent a $8 million expansion in 2001, a project that also added a players lounge and an outdoor terrace overlooking Greentree Practice Field; an expansion to the football equipment room; a new office suite for head football coach Randy Shannon; locker rooms for women's track, soccer and men's track; and an Olympic sports equipment room.
