Due to the large number of requests and to ensure compliance with NCAA rules, the University of Miami directs all requests for autographed items to the Hurricanes Online Store at the following URL: http://www.ShopMiamiHurricanes.com/CharityRequests
Purchases made by non-profit organizations for the purpose of fundraising and/or auction events can be returned, if the cost of purchase is not recouped during your event.
UM will continue to provide opportunities for Canes Fans to obtain complimentary autographs from their favorites Hurricane coaches and student-athletes at CanesFest events and public appearances.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
At the University of Miami, our student-athletes, coaches, and staff take pride in giving back to the community. Through volunteerism we strive to serve our community and present positive role-models to youth. This program gives student-athletes, coaches, and staff the opportunity to speak to groups about developing a positive winning lifestyle. We also participate in staff & team service projects. ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT TOUR
Take advantage of the opportunity for an unforgetable day on the University of Miami campus. You will receive a guided tour of the athletic department and its facilities with an inside look at where the teams train and practice. Visits and tours with other departments on campus may also be arranged such as a visit to our Microbiology Lab or a visit to our state of the art Wellness Center.
MASCOT REQUEST
Sebastian the Ibis is available to make special apperances. If you are interested in booking Sebastian for an event please complete the Mascot Request Form and return via fax to 305-284-3362 for approval.
SCOREBOARD MESSAGE REQUESTS
Guidelines :
- All scoreboard messages must be in good taste and requests can be denied by Athletics Staff if any portion of the message is deemed inappropriate. Acceptable messages include: Birthdays, Anniversaries, Graduations, Wedding Announcement, Proposals, and Retirement Announcement.
- Requests should be made online using the Scoreboard Message Request Form at least one (1) week prior to the event. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Fees:
- The University of Miami will require a charitable donation of $100 to the Hurricane Club for each scoreboard request.
- For a donation of $500 The University of Miami will provide a professional picture of your scoreboard message as displayed on the video boards.
- Scoreboard donations do not count towards Hurricane Club Giving Levels or are eligible for priority points
NIKE FUTURE CANES PROGRAM
The Hurricanes are dedicated to providing opportunities for community organizations to attend Hurricanes games. The Nike Future Canes Program is designed to expose at-risk youth, disabled persons and disadvantaged children to a Hurricane athletic event. Through the generous contributions of several UM corporate partners thousands of South Florida's children are able to attend a UM game. We would like to thank the following corporate partners for making the Nike Future Canes Program possible: Coca-Cola, Gatorade, Publix and Nike.
