Chris Doell is in his seventh year with the University of Miami Athletic Department, serving as the Assistant Director for Academic Services.
Providing academic support for the Hurricanes since 2005, he is responsible for advising student-athletes from the football, men's tennis, women's tennis and volleyball programs. He also oversees initial eligibility, tracks student-athlete admissions, coordinates the supply loan program and directs the University of Miami Experience course for freshman student-athletes.
Doell earned his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Florida International University and his Master of Science in education with a focus in sport administration from the University of Miami. He and his wife, Nicole, live in Coconut Grove and enjoy traveling, music, and food.
