Karen Kelly is inher third year at the University of Miami, serving as theAssistant Compliance Directorfor Financial Aid. She monitors financial aid for student-athletes, including but not limited to athletic aid scholarships, the National Letter of Intent program and the Student Athlete Opportunity Fund.
Prior to UM, Kelly spent two years as the the Director of Compliance at Florida Atlantic University and two years as a Compliance Graduate Extern at Temple University.
A native of Long Island, N.Y., she earned her bachelor's degree in communication arts from the New York Institute of Technology in 2004. She went on to earn a master'sdegree in sports administration from Templein 2007.
As an undergraduate at NYIT, Kelly was a member of the track and field teamandearned All-America honors in 2004.
