Peggy Stephens is in her second year as Assistant Director of Marketing for the University of Miami Athletics Department. She handles the marketing and promotional efforts for the women's basketball, track and field, cross country and swimming & diving teams, while also coordinating the Hurricanes' community relations efforts and the Coca-Cola Junior `Canes Program.
Stephens previously served as communications and marketing assistant at the University of Texas from 2008-10, helping with the marketing efforts for the Longhorns' 20 sport programs, in addition to working as the marketing liaison for numerous NCAA events. Prior to that, she was as marketing coordinator at her alma mater, Texas State University.
A native of Houston and a 2007 graduate of Texas State, Stephens earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication.
