'Canes Coaches vs. Cancer Foundation

Dear Hurricane Fans,

We all at some point in our lives have been touched in some way or another by Cancer, whether it be the loss of a loved one, the loss of a co-worker, or just being around someone who is dealing with the condition. As part of the University's support of the Coaches vs. Cancer Foundation, we are proud to present you with the opportunity to do your part and possibly save lives. Below is a list of (4) of the UM Women's Basketball games in the month of February, along with (4) different nominal pledge amounts. We ask that you check the game or games that you would like to sponsor along with amount that you pledge to donate. For every point the Hurricanes Women's Basketball team scores in the game you have chosen to sponsor, we will multiply those points times your pledge amount and that will be the amount you will be asked to donate to the Coaches vs. Cancer Foundation.

For example if you pledge $ .10 for every point that the women score against Pittsburgh and the final score is 40-38 in favor of Miami, then your final pledge amount will be $4.00 (40 points X $.10).

Since out of the kindness of your heart you have chosen to support this worthwhile foundation, your name will be entered into a raffle. A pair of Women's Basketball Ryder Center Tickets will be raffled off for next season for individuals that participate in this cause.
