Building a strong endowment is critical to maintaining the long-term financial health and stability of our athletic program. Endowment funds are invested and provide a steady stream of income that supports scholarships for our student-athletes.

A college education can be expensive. Very few students and their families can shoulder the entire cost of a college education without scholarships and other financial assistance. Scholarships help us recruit and retain outstanding student-athletes, ensuring that their tuition, fees, and expenses are covered so they can concentrate on their studies and competitive activities. One way to support a scholarship is to endow a position on one of our teams. For instance, your donation could forever be associated with a position such as quarterback, shortstop, center, or goalie.

Students at the University of Miami deserve the very best, and our student-athletes are no exception. Through the Sprint for Hurricane Athletics, we seek to create 20 new and fully-funded scholarships at the $500,000 level, totaling a $10 million increase in our endowment.
