One of college football's most impressive defensive players and a solid candidate for the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy, the University of Miami's William Joseph is a standout on a defensive line loaded with superb talent.

A senior who is already established as one of the finest defensive linemen in Miami's proud history is widely considered UM's finest defensive tackle since 1994 Lombardi Trophy winner Warren Sapp. Joseph was named to the 2002 Playboy Preseason All-America Team and is a force to be reckoned with in the trenches.

This Miami native is a quiet player who has been overlooked for much of his college career, but is considered among the nation's best by his own coaches and opposing teams. Joseph has started all 42 games (including bowl games) since becoming a Hurricane and has a combination of size and strength that opponents have found difficult to handle.
