2003-04: Did not compete in 2003-04.
2002-03: Won the BIG EAST Championship in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.34 and set a BIG EAST Championship record in the 200-yard freestyle posting a time of 1:46:44...finished 13th in the NCAA Championships in the 100-yard freestyle and 16th in the 200-yard freestyle.
2001-02: As a sophomore enjoyed one of the best seasons a Hurricane swimmer has had in recent memory as she set two individual school records in the 100 and 200-yard freestyle events and anchored three of the teams four school record-setting relay teams en route to being selected as the BIG EAST Conference Most Valuable Swimmer...in the 100-yard freestyle, she reset UM's books with a time of 49.08 at the 2002 Women's NCAA Championships and in the 200-yard freestyle she raced to a 1:46.48 at the 2002 BIG EAST Championship...she finished sixth in both the 100 and 200-yard freestyle and earned All-American status in both events...at the Women's NCAA Championship set other personal bests in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.14, in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.42, in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.66, in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:02.27 and in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:32.50...competed on the Dutch relay team that placed third in the European Swimming and Diving Championship in the 4x100-meter relay as well as a team that finished in sixth place in the 4x100 medley and another that finished fifth in the 4x200 freestyle relay...finished ranked eighth individually in the 200-meter freestyle.
2000-01: During freshman season, competed in the 50, 100, 200 and 500-yard freestyle...finished second in the 100-yard freestyle during the 2001 BIG EAST Championships and third in the 200-yard freestyle...won a silver medal at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney as a member of the Dutch 4x100 freestyle relay team.
Prep: Swam for Koningin Wilhelmina College...holds the school record in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:48.97.
Personal: Majoring in marine biology enjoys reading and playing on the computer...nickname is Moon...favorite actor is Mel Gibson.
