CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Current and former members of the University of Miami diving team wrapped up the final day of competition Saturday at the 2004 Speedo American Cup in Minneapolis, Minn. with the women's three-meter springboard and the men's platform.

Former UM diver Michelle Davison placed sixth in the three-meter springboard with a mark of 722.37 while former Hurricane Kyle Prandi placed fifth in the platform with a score of 921.15.

Freshman Heather Bounds (Austin, Texas) placed seventh in the women's platform finals Friday with a score of 672.48 and paired with Ohio State's Ashley Bourland for a fifth place finish in the synchronized platform finals Thursday with a score of 221.34.

The 2004 Speedo American Cup was the final qualifying event of American divers vying for a spot at the 2004 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
