AS A SENIOR (2005): Transferred from the University of Florida to attend graduate school at Miami...became the fourth Hurricane woman to win an NCAA individual national championship finishing first in the shot put (18.10m) at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships...also earned All-America honors in the weight throw finishing fifth (21.23m)...won the NCAA Outdoor Championship in the shot put with a school record toss of 18.20 meters...won the ACC Indoor (18.19m) and Outdoor (17.94m) titles in the shot put...ACC Outdoor Champion in the hammer (62.20m)...NCAA East Regional Champion in the shot put (17.31m)...won all seven shot put competitions during the outdoor season...won 12 of 13 shot put competitions during the indoor and outdoor seasons including 10 straight...was named ACC Performer of the Week three times (1-Indoor; 2-Outdoor)...has established new school-records in four events including the shot put and weight throw during the indoor season, and the shot put and hammer throw during the outdoor season.

AT THE OLYMPICS (2004): Competed in the shot put at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens for Jamaica...placed 13th in her qualifying flight with a throw of 16.45 meters (53-11.75).

AT FLORIDA (2001-04): Six-time NCAA All-American and two-time SEC Champion...2004 NCAA Outdoor All-American - shot put; 2004 SEC Outdoor Champion - shot put; 2004 NCAA Indoor All-American - weight throw, shot put; 2004 SEC Indoor Champion - shot put; 2003 Indoor NCAA All-American - shot put, weight throw; 2003 Outdoor All-American - shot put...earned All-America honors with a fourth-place finish in the shot put (17.18m/56-4.50) at the 2004 NCAA Outdoor Championship...runner-up in the shot put at the NCAA East Region Championship with a school-record mark of 59-11.75...won the SEC Outdoor shot put title (57-6.25)...NCAA runner-up in the weight throw with a personal-best toss of 75-3.50 and also earned All-America honors in the shot put with an eighth place finish of 55-2.25 at the 2004 NCAA Indoor Championship...won the SEC title in the shot put with a mark of 58-5.25, setting the league record and resetting the school record in the process, and was the runner-up in the weight throw (71-4.75) at the 2004 SEC Indoor Championships...earned SEC and Trackshark Athlete of the Week honors the week of Jan. 20, 2004...named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll...earned an All-America honor with a season-best and fifth-place mark of 55-7 in the shot put at the 2003 NCAA Outdoor Championships...finished fourth in the hammer and fifth in the shot put at the 2003 SEC Outdoor Championships...finished fifth in both the shot put and weight throw at the 2003 NCAA Indoor Championship...third in shot put (53-3.75) and weight throw (68-3) at the 2003 SEC Indoor Championships...named to Verizon Academic All-District III...named to SEC Academic Honor Roll...finished third in the weight throw at the 2002 SEC Indoor Championships...finished 20th at the 2001 NCAA Outdoor Championships in the shot put (47-1)...second in the shot put at the SEC Outdoor Championships, 48-4
