AS A SOPHOMORE (2003): Gold medalist in the 100-meters (11.12) and 4x100-meter relay at the 2003 Pan American games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic...silver medalist in the 4x100-meter relay at the 2003 World Championships...earned All-America honors in the 60-meters, 100-meters and 4x100-meter relay... qualified for the Pan Am Games with a seventh-place finish in the 100-meters at the USA Track and Field Championships...finished third in the 100-meters at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 11.31... set a Miami record for the 100-meters with a season-best time of 11.20 in the NCAA East Regional Championship... BIG EAST Champion in the 100-meters with a time of 11.62... finished second in the 200-meters at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships with a time of 23.30... ran opening leg of the 4x100-meter relay that finished seventh at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (44.01) and second in the NCAA East Regionals (44.06)... ran first leg of the 4x100-meter relay that won the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships with a time of 44.58 ... was a member of the 4x100-meter relay team that set a Miami record with a time of 43.96 at the Florida Relays, which they later matched in the prelims of the NCAA Outdoor Championships... set Miami records for the 55-meters (6.82), the 60-meters (7.22), and the 200-meters (23.53) during the indoor season... AS A FRESHMAN (2002): Registered one of the best freshman seasons in school history... ended the season ranked ninth in the United States in the 100-meters by Track and Field News...earned All-America honors in the 60-meters and the 100-meters... won a gold medal in the 100-meters at the World Junior Championships in Kingston, Jamaica with a school-record time of 11.33...also took home a silver medal as a member of the 4x100-meter relay...qualified for the World Junior Championships with a victory in the 100-meters (11.42) at the USA Junior Nationals...became the first Hurricane to earn All-America honors in the 60-meters with a seventh-place finish (7.39) at the NCAA Indoor Championships (3/9/02)... took sixth in the 100-meters (11.63) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Baton Rouge, LA (6/1/02) marking the best NCAA finish by a Hurricane in the 100-meters in school-history... was named the BIG EAST Most Outstanding Track Performer at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships after recording victories in the 60-meters (7.38) and 200-meters (23.91)... took first in the 100-meters (11.40) at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in Storrs, CT (5/5/02)... finished second at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in the 200-meters with a time of 23.71... set Miami records in the 55-meters (6.85) and 60-meters (7.32) during the indoor season, and broke the UM record in the 100-meters (11.33) during the outdoor season.
