As a Freshman in 1998
Appeared in 48 games, including 30 starts, as both an infielder and an outfielder... earned 14 starts at right field, six starts in left field, five starts at first base, four starts at DH and one start at third base... quickly adapted to new positions of left and right field when called upon in middle of season...hit .333 (3-9) with a home run and two RBI in 11 appearances as a pinch hitter. At 1998 Atlantic I Regional: Played in three games, making two starts at first base...went 1-for-5 with a double in his three games.
