Among the team's top offensive leaders in batting average (.322, 4th) slugging percentage (.543, 3rd), on-base percentage (.431, 3rd), runs scored (42, 5th), hits (67, 4th), RBI (48, 3rd), doubles (19, 2nd), home runs (9, 3rd), total bases (113, 4th), walks (35, t1st) and HBP (7, t1st)...started in 60 of 61 games...placed fourth with 20 multi-hit games, including a four-hit outing vs. Minnesota on 2/16...tied for second with 12 multi-RBI efforts, including six RBI in that Minnesota game and five vs. Jacksonville on 5/19...put together a career-long hitting streak of 15 games from 2/6 to 3/10...started in three positions as well as DH, first base (9), left field (34) and right field (15)...hit mostly in the six and seven positions in the UM lineup...tied for second on the team with five game-winning hits on the season vs. Florida, UCLA (two), South Florida and Cal State Fullerton...drew a bases loaded walk-off walk in the ninth in game No. 1 vs. UCLA on 3/23...hit a grand slam in the fifth to help UM avoided a sweep by USF on 3/10...had a two-RBI single in the sixth to lift UM past Cal State Fullerton on 3/2. 2002 NCAA Gainesville Regional: Was an all-tournament selection after turning in clutch performances for the Hurricanes in the final two games against Florida...in game two vs. Florida on Sunday, 6/2, hit a bottom of the ninth two-strike, two-out, walk-off two-run double to left center to win the game for the Hurricanes, 8-7...in game No. 1 vs. Florida on 6/2 hit a two-out top of the ninth three-run home run to tie the game at 10-10 in UM's 11-10 defeat...went 2-for-5 in UM's first game vs. Florida on 6/1...was 0-for-5 vs. FIU on 5/31. 2002 NCAA Columbia Super Regional: Against South Carolina scored a run in game No. 3 and went 3-for-5 in game No. 1 to highlight his play...started all three games vs. the Gamecocks.
Freshman (2001)
