One of the nation's top pitchers and arguably the most heralded freshman in Miami history after his remarkable 2008 rookie campaign ... Won several freshman of the year honors, in addition to earning all-america honors by a number of publications ... Returns as UM's ace for the 2009 season after going 11-0 with a 2.72 ERA last year ... Despite having only played one season, has logged more career innings (112.2) than any active pitcher on the 2009 roster ...
