Despite having only played one season, has logged more career innings (112.2) than any active pitcher on the 2009 roster ... •Finished the year with the best record ever by a UM freshman (11-0)
•Led team in wins (11), games started (17), innings pitched (112.2) and strikeouts (117)
•Recorded eight of his 11 wins against Atlantic Coast Conference teams
•Allowed two runs or less in 10 of 17 starts
•Owned staff's third-lowest ERA (2.62)
•Longest '08 outing: 8.0 innings (Virginia - 4/25, Clemson - 5/21)
•Recorded a season-high 11 strikeouts twice (Clemson - 4/4, UVa - 4/25)
•Best outing of the season came against Virginia (4/25), when he allowed no runs on just two hits while striking out 11 and walking just one in eight innings of work

•His most effective month came in May, when he went 4-0 with a 2.11 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 34 innings of work
