One of the top defensive shortstops in the country ... Fielded .937 and had a team-high 133 assists in 2007 ... Considered by the coaching staff as Miami's best defensive player in fall practice ...   • vs. Virginia Tech (4/20-22): Finished the series with five RBI on two hits, which included a double.
  • vs. NC State (4/13-15): Went 3-for-4 with two RBI in the series finale.
  • vs. FIU (4/4): Had the game-winning hit with a single up the middle in the 10th inning and went 2-for-3 with two RBI against FIU.
  • at Clemson (3/30-4/1): Went 3-for-5 in series finale win over No. 11 Clemson on the road.
  • vs. Maryland (3/16-18): Batted .637 (7-for11) and added five RBI in the series after going a career-best 4-for-5 with a career-high four RBI in the series opener; finished 2-for-3 with a run and RBI in game two and added one hit in the series finale.
  • vs. LaSalle (3/7): Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
