A 2009 All-ACC performer that will likely open the 2010 season at second base and bat at or near the top of UM's lineup ... Led UM in hitting most of the year in his first season in Coral Gables and enters the 2010 season as UM's top hitter (.333) ... Started all but one game at second base during the 2009 campaign ... Solid defensively and has a great approach at the plate.
2009 - JUNIOR SEASON
•Led team in hits (75), doubles (21) and stolen bases (10)
•Ranked second on the team in hitting (.333) and third in walks (40) and on-base percentage (.444)
•Reached base safely in 56 of his 59 games played
•Owned team's best walk-to-strikeout ratio (1.74-to-1)
•Led the team with 22 multi-hit games
•Started 59 out of 60 games and played every inning of those starts at second base
•Led the `Canes with a .363 average (41-for-113) against non-conference opponents
•Hit .667 (6-for-9), had an on-base percentage of .733 and recorded seven RBI, six runs scored and a homer in the Georgia Tech series (3/27-3/29)

•Led Grayson to the Junior College World Series title as a sophomore, hitting .468 with six homers, 40 RBI and 22 stolen bases on the year
