Saw his workload increase dramatically as a sophomore in 2009, tossing 62 innings after going only 11 1/3 as a freshman in 2008 ... Served as Miami's Sunday starter throughout the season, going 6-5 in 15 starts ... Also saw some at-bats as a designated hitter and pinch hitter, going 9-for-38 with eight walks and seven RBI ...
