Played three seasons under Mervyl Melendrez at Bethune-Cookman in Daytona Beach...Named to five Preseason All-America Teams prior to the 2011 campaign, including Louisville Slugger, ESPN, National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), Collegiate Baseball Lineup and Perfect Game USA... In his junior year, hit .304 with 14 home runs and 69 RBI... During his sophomore year was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Year as well as Third Team Louisville Slugger All-America, while also playing for Team USA Collegiate... Freshman year he was named Freshman All-America catcher by Louisville Slugger...
