Lincoln Regional (6/2): Struck out in a pinch-hit appearance against San Francisco. vs. Wake Forest (5/12): Pinch-hit in the eighth inning and was hit by a pitch and scored. vs. Wright State (5/6-7): Came off the bench to play in the final two games of the series ... drew a bases-loaded walk in his only plate appearance in the second game of the series ... went 0-for-2 in the series finale. vs. Virginia (4/22): Went 0-for-1 off the bench in the second game of the series. at Florida State (4/15): Struck out in a pinch-hit appearance. vs. Clemson (4/2): Came into the game at first base in the late innings and struck out in his only at bat. vs. Louisville (2/15): Went 0-for-1 off the bench in the DH spot. vs. Winthrop (2/3): Went 0-for-1 off the bench UM's series-opening win. vs. FIU (1/28): Made his UM debut in the fifth inning of the opener as the designated hitter ... went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles and drove in one run in the sixth inning.

Played for Andy McKay at Sacramento City JC ... member of the honor roll for six consecutive semesters. Sophomore (2005): Hit .308 with four home runs and 38 RBIs. Freshman (2004): Batted .323 with a home run and 17 RBIs.

Petralli played for Mike Isherwood at Oak Ridge ... played in Oklahoma City for the 16-18 World Series as a member of the Natoma Indians ... two-time all-league selection. Senior (2003): Hit .350 with three home runs and 28 RBIs. Junior (2002): Batted .333 with two home runs and 21 RBIs.
