Erick San Pedro returns as the Hurricanes' starting catcher in 2004 after a breakout season in 2003 ... Drove in two runs and with a double in the Regional opening win over Bethune-Cookman on May 30th ... went 3-for-4 in the Regional Championship game victory over Florida on June 1st ... doubled twice and scored twice in the decisive win over the Gators to advance to the Super Regional round. 2003 NCAA Coral Gables Super Regional: Went 3-for-7 with six RBIs with a home run and a double in the Super Regional against North Carolina State ... was 1-for-3 with two RBIs in the 10-9 win over the Wolfpack ... hit a clinching grand slam home run in the 11th inning of Miami's 11-5 win over North Carolina State to solidify UM's CWS berth ... was 2-for-4 with four RBIs overall in the second game. 2003 College World Series: Was the Hurricanes' most consistent hitter it the CWS, going 4-for-11 in the series ... opened with a 1-for-3 performance and one RBI against Texas on June 14 ... collected two singles and one RBI in UM's 7-5 win over SMS on June 16 ... added a single in the second game with Texas.
