Touchet pitched one inning of relief on May 29 against Long Beach State, allowing one hit. 2004 NCAA Coral Gables Regional: Touchet took to the mound for one inning of work against Florida Atlantic on June 6, recording one strikeout. 2004 College World Series: Touchet was roughed up in his only outing at the CWS in Omaha ... the right-hander allowed seven runs on eight hits in 2.1 innings of work.
Redshirt (2003)
Posted a 2-0 record with a 1.93 ERA as the staff ace in three starts before injuring his elbow ... pitched 18.2 innings, allowing four earned runs and 21 hits ... struck out 22 while issuing only three walks ... picked up wins over Florida International and Florida ... underwent "Tommy John" surgery on his right elbow in early March.
