Feb. 8, 2012
CORAL GABLES, Fla. - The University of Miami has announced the addition of 11 Hurricanes baseball games to the television schedule, bringing the 2012 season total to an impressive 19 games for broadcast.
In addition to the eight games scheduled for national broadcast by the ESPN family of networks, 11 games spanning seven different teams will also be broadcast by Comcast and Fox Sports Florida.
After the team's March 4 tilt with in-state rival Florida Gators (Fox Sports Florida), Comcast will broadcast ten key Atlantic Coast Conference battles. Two of those will take place during the Canes' home series with North Carolina (April 6 and 7), while the station will also broadcast the team's entire final regular season series at Georgia Tech (May 17-19).
The Hurricanes' April 22 battle with Florida State, April 29 game against Virginia, and their two matchups with Wake Forest (May 12 and 13) adds three complete series to the television schedule. With the addition of those five games, the total number of full series to be broadcast comes to five.
Canes All-Access will be streaming every home game not available via television throughout the 2012 season. For more information about Canes All-Access, click HERE.
