WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Friday night's baseball game between No. 21 Miami and Wake Forest has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Winston-Salem area. Game two of the series will now be played Saturday at 1 p.m. with the second game to follow immediately after.
Sophomore left-hander Iden Nazario (5-3, 6.50 ERA) will start the first game of the double-header while freshman right-hander Travis Miller (1-0, 5.47) is slated to make his first career start for the `Canes in the series finale. Wake Forest will counter right-hander Michael Dimock (4-3, 6.83) and left-hander Garrett Bullock (1-4, 7.16).
Friday night's rain-out marks the second this season for the `Canes. The first postponement came in the first game of a three-game series at Clemson on March 10.
The Hurricanes won the series opener against the Demon Deacons, 23-5, Thursday night at Wake Forest Baseball Park.
