CORAL GABLES, Fla. - -

University of Miami sophomore outfielder Dave DiNatale has been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Baseball Team, announced by ACC Commissioner John D. Swofford.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.

DiNatale, a finance major from Parkland, Fla., played in 42 games garnering 31 starts for the Hurricanes. He hit .233 with 27 hits including six doubles and three home runs while driving in 23 batters. He also scored 21 runs.

A trio of All-Americans, nine Major League Baseball draft picks and seven All-Atlantic Coast Conference honorees, including the ACC Pitcher of the Year, highlighted the 2007 All-ACC Academic Baseball Team.
