CAREER: UM's Defensive Rookie of the year in 2006, when he played in 12 games as a true freshman...Played a key role in two wins his first year, with a fumble recovery on the 8-yard line against Houston and an interception in the bowl victory over Nevada that ended the game in 2006...Played nickel back in 24 games, making 10 starts, over the last two seasons.

2007 (SOPHOMORE): Played as the nickel back all season...Started five games, playing in all 12 contests. Set season highs with 26 tackles (21 solo), adding his second career interception...His 43-yard interception return was the team's longest of the season...Started the season opener against Marshall as the nickel back and saw action on 52 plays, making three solo tackles...Made his first interception of the season against FIU just before halftime, returning it 47 yards ... Saw extensive defensive action on 45 plays agains Duke, tallying two tackles (one solo) and a QB pressure... Made a career-high six solo tackles at Boston College...
