Led Northwestern to a 30-0 record, the state championship and the national championship, as chosen by USA Today and Sports Illustrated. Has similar dual-threat skills in the spread as former Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith. In 2007, shattered numerous Miami-Dade County records. His 49 TD passes broke Robert Marve's state record and now ranks second in state history. In 2006, set county records with 2,920 yards passing and 38 touchdowns, while completing 194 of 285 passes, with only six interceptions. Named Miami-Dade's Class 6A-5A Offensive Player of the year by the Miami Herald and Most Valuable Player of the 6A state championship game.
