CAREER: Will compete for playing time at fullback this
season...returns for a fifth season this fall after being awarded a
medical redshirt for the 2003 season...history major.
2003 (REDSHIRT): Played in two games (Louisiana Tech and
East Carolina) before missing the remainder of the season due to an
injury...was awarded a medical redshirt following the season.
2002 (JUNIOR): Played in four games as a reserve fullback...did
not have a rushing attempt...caught one pass for no gain...played
against Florida, Connecticut, Syracuse and Virginia Tech...signed
with Miami in December, 2001, and enrolled for the spring 2002
semester.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Northeastern (Oklahoma) A&M JC (Miami,
Oklahoma)...helped lead his team to the 2000 Southwest Junior
College Conference title as a freshman...rushed 83 times for 400
yards and two touchdowns as a sophomore in 2001...NEO is one of
the nation's top JC football programs, having produced former UM
tight end Jeremy Shockey...coached by Dale Patterson.
HIGH SCHOOL: Southridge...named to the Miami Herald Class 6-
5A All-State First-Team after rushing for more than 1,008 yards
and 19 touchdowns on 89 carries as a senior in 1998...named the
no. 8 running back in the Southeast by PrepStar...rated Florida's no.
1 fullback on the Florida Times-Union Super 75...a National and
Dixie Blue Chip by Max Emfinger...lettered in basketball...coached in
football by Mark Guandola.
