1999 (JUNIOR): Was on the Doak Walker Award candidate list, given to the nation's best running back...led Hurricanes with 86.9 rushing yards per game...netted 782 rushing yards on team-high 169 attempts over nine games played...missed three games (Virginia Tech, Rutgers, Syracuse) with right knee sprain...ranked fourth in BIG EAST in rushing (86.9 yards per game) and third in touchdowns scored (6.2 ppg)... fourth on the team with 21 plays that gained 10 or more yards... placed fifth on the team in receiving (13-133 yards)... nearly recorded a 100-yard game in the Kickoff Classic victory over Ohio State with 89 net yards (102 gained), plus a 44-yard touchdown run to start the scoring in the first quarter...earned his first 100-yard game of the season with 103 yards on 19 carries in the home-opener against Florida A&M...scored on touchdown runs of 43 and seven yards against the Rattlers...rushed for his second consecutive 100-yard game with 129 yards on 33 carries and caught one pass for 21 yards against Penn State...also scored on touchdown runs of 18 and 39 yards in the second half against the Nittany Lions...his 33 carries against PSU ranks third on UM's all-time single-game carries list...saw limited time at East Carolina (due to injury), gaining 38 yards on nine carries all in the second half...gained 74 yards on 22 carries and caught two passes for 15 yards at Florida State...paved way for the greatest comeback in school history with two touchdowns, 22 seconds apart, in come-from-behind win at Boston College...recorded his seventh career 100 yard rushing game against the Eagles, amassing a season best 134 yards...also had his best receiving performance of the season against the Eagles with three catches for 40 yards, including a 32-yard touchdown pass...gained 72 yards in limited action against West Virginia, including a 17-yard touchdown run in the third quarter...also had two catches for 14 yards against the Mountaineers...gained 69 yards in limited action at Pittsburgh, including a long of 32 yards on UM's third play from scrimmage...returned to action vs. Temple after missing three games, scoring on an 11-yard TD run on his fourth carry and then busting a 56-yard TD run on his sixth carry of the game.

1998 (SOPHOMORE): Ranked second on the team with 545 rushing yards on 82 carries...averaged 6.6 yards per carry...rushed for 10 yards or more 17 times, with eight rushes of 20-plus yards, four of over 30, and two of 40 or more yards...opened the season with a 147-yard effort vs. East Tennessee State...registered a career-long 79-yard run against Boston College, ranking as the tenth longest run in Miami history...forced out of the game after tweaking his left hamstring during the run...79-yarder bested his previous career long of 78 yards in 1997 at Virginia Tech...accounted for 45 of the 48 yards needed for the winning touchdown against West Virginia...set up the winning score with a 40-yard scamper to the WVU 5-yardline with just under two minutes left in the game...combined to rush for 125 yards on six carries in victories over West Virginia and Boston College, a two-game average of 20.8 yards per carry...provided an offensive spark against Florida State, coming off the bench to rush for 88 yards on 17 carries...averaged over 10 yards a carry in three games...rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries in Micron PC Bowl victory over North Carolina State.

1997 (FRESHMAN): Ran for 595 yards to set a new UM freshman rushing record, eclipsing Chuck Foreman's mark of 557 yards set in 1969...led the team with a 7.3 yards per carry average and ranked second with six touchdowns...started the season fourth on the depth chart at running back and gained playing time after injuries to Daryl McMillan and Trent Jones...saw action in nine games with his first start in the season finale vs. Syracuse...tallied three 100-yard games on the season...emerged on the scene in Week 7 vs. Temple by running for 187 yards on 18 carries and two touchdowns...had carried the ball 18 times for 50 yards in the previous six games...187-yard effort against the Owls ranks fourth on UM's single-game rushing list...scampered for touchdown runs of 74 and 20 yards in the contest...exploded for 127 yards and two touchdowns on six carries in the fourth quarter at Virginia Tech...ran for a season-long 78-yard TD and finished with 142 yards on nine carries vs. the Hokies... tallied 115 yards on 10 carries, including a 56-yard TD run, vs. Arkansas State...totaled 10 receptions for 52 yards on the season.

1996 (REDSHIRT): Appeared in the first two games of the season... totaled 22 yards on eight carries...caught one pass for seven yards.

AT FORK UNION: Spent one year at Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia where former UM players Vinny Testaverde and Stephen McGuire attended...also the alma mater of 1995 Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George...rushed for over 1,700 yards and 25 touchdowns.

HIGH SCHOOL: Glades Central...member of 1994 Orlando Sentinel Super 11 squad as a senior...All-County selection...totaled over 1,100 yards on 100 carries...rushed for 16 touchdowns in nine games...missed four games due to injury...made 20 catches out of the backfield for 434 yards and three TD's...earned four letters in baseball batting .355...played football for Milton Watson.
