    CAREER: One of the team's most experienced veterans...will try to regain his starting spot at strongside linebacker, where he started in 2002...a special teams star for the Hurricanes throughout his career...has the intensity, talent and work ethic to develop into an outstanding linebacker...criminology major.

    2003 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 12 games, making 23 tackles (16 solos)...had one stop for a loss of three yards and broke up a pass...made a season-high eight tackles (five solos) in the win over Syracuse...had four stops in the win at Florida State...made two tackles against Boston College, Virginia Tech and Rutgers...had one tackles in games against Florida, East Carolina, Temple and Tennessee...was limited by a knee injury that slowed him through-out preseason practices and caused him to miss the opener against Louisiana Tech.

    2002 (FRESHMAN): Started six games, including the final four games of the season, at strongside linebacker...made 43 tackles (24 solos), eight tackles for losses (18 yards), one forced fumble and two passes broken up...made eight stops (two solos), including two for losses (three yards), in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State...made five tackles (three solos), had 1.5 tackles for losses and forced a fumble against Virginia Tech...made two tackles, assisting on a tackle for a loss, at Syracuse...made one solo tackle against Pittsburgh...made three tackles and broke up a pass in the 26-3 win at Tennessee...had five tackles (four solos) and broke up a pass in the win at Rutgers...had a season-high 10 tackles (six solos) and a tackle for a loss of six yards in the win at West Virginia...had one solo tackle against Florida State...made two tackles (both assists) against Connecticut...had four tackles (three solos) and two stops for losses in the win over Boston College, his first career start...made two tackles in the victory at Florida...debuted against Florida A&M but did not make a tackle.
