AT MIAMI: Fifth-year senior who enters fall practice competing for the starting fullback role...a former walk-on that was put on scholarship following the 1997 season...has progressed beyond the blocking aspects of the position...steadily made strides throughout his three seasons in Coral Gables...veteran member of fullback corps...has excellent strength with a 370-pound bench press...has great hands and offers quarterbacks a viable passing option...made the BIG EAST All-Academic Team following the 1998 and `99 seasons after maintaining a grade point average of 3.0 or better.

1997 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in 10 games...recorded two carries, both against Arkansas State...caught one pass for six yards against Temple...also returned two kickoffs, including a 13-yard return against Syracuse.

1996 (REDSHIRT): Entered the UM program as a walk-on, contributing as a scout team player.

Scranton Times first-team All-Regional selection at fullback...rushed for 1,520 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior...also played linebacker, intercepting two passes...ran for 214 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries vs. West Scranton...totaled 650 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns as a junior...a Scranton Times All-Conference selection as a heavyweight wrestler...earned two wrestling letters.
