2000 (SOPHOMORE): Developed into a potent force in the offensive line...made most of the blocking calls as the center of one of college football's best offensive lines...earned first-team All-BIG EAST recognition by The Sporting News...was a major factor in a resurgent offensive line that became a force for the Hurricanes...a vital contributor in an offensive line that allowed an amazingly low three quarterback sacks in 340 passing plays this season...helped pave the way for a 1,006-yard rushing season by tailback James Jackson, only the fifth time a Miami back had rushed for 1,000 yards in a season...part of an offensive line that enabled the offense to rack up a school-record 469 points and average a BIG EAST-best 460.8 yards total offense per game...showed his toughness and courage when he did not miss a practice after suffering a dislocated and lacerated pinky finger on his right (snapping) hand against Louisiana Tech...returned to play the next Saturday in Miami's 41-21 win over then-No. 2 ranked Virginia Tech.

1999 (REDSHIRT): Took the season off with a redshirt season...continued to add strength and muscle to his frame.
