CORAL GABLES, Fla. - - University of Miami football players All-America defensive end Calais Campbell and guard Derrick Morse joined head coach Randy Shannon at the 2007 Atlantic Coast Conference Football Kickoff on Sunday and Monday, July 22-23 in Pinehurst, N.C.

The two UM players and Shannon represented the Hurricanes at the event that marks the official beginning of the conference's 2007 season. Players and coaches representing the ACC's other 11 schools also joined the Hurricanes at the media event.

Miami was selected to finish third in the coastal division by the media attending the event. Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech were picked to finish ahead of the Hurricanes. Florida State is the favorite to win the atlantic division.
