Lamar Miller carried the ball 11 times for 65 yards a touchdown against the Rattlers. He led the 'Canes with 122 all-purpose yards en route to ACC Rookie of the Week honors.

Spencer Whipple saw his first action as a `Cane, throwing 3-for-4 for 22 yards during the second half.
