The Terps evened it up with a win at the No. 2 singles position, but the Hurricanes came charging back with four-straight singles decisions - including the match-clincher by Barnabas Carrega in the No. 6 spot - to seal the fourth-straight win for Miami heading into the ACC Tournament.
"We had a tough match today," said junior David Rosenfeld. "
"It's great to finish the regular season strong," added All-American junior Daniel Vallverdu. "We have a few days before the conference tournament to get ready, but it's good to see that the freshmen are stepping up in singles and doubles."
The Hurricanes open ACC Tournament competition on Thurs., Apr. 17. Seedings will be announced by the conference on Monday.
