Day Two Results

CORAL GABLES  Day-two of the Hurricane Invitational saw the University of Miami take three of the top five times in the 5000m and Diego Rosado take third in his first decathlon.  Elan Daviglus also took fourth place in the high jump in track and field, Friday at Cobb Stadium.

 

Rosado, a freshman, showed great potential in his outdoor debut for the Hurricanes, as he recorded 5,326 point in his first decathlon. 

 

Senior Alex Paley placed second in the 5,000m run with a time of 15:31.60, with teammate junior Ryan Woodley right behind him in third place at 15:37.65.  Junior Eric Miller finished in fifth place.


 

 

 

With a height of 2.01m, Daviglus took fourth in the high jump.  Also placing for the Hurricanes was junior Chris Tringali, who finished seventh in the javelin with a toss of 46.73m.

 

The third and final day of the Hurricane Invitational will take place tomorrow with the field events getting started at 11 a.m., while the running events begin with the 4x100m relay at 1 p.m.
