Coral Gables, FL (hurricanesports.com) - The University of Miami men's cross country team is ranked 12th in the South Region in the latest poll released by the United States Cross Country Coaches Association on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes have recorded two victories in the season's first three meets, and return to action on October 11 at the Disney Invitational in Orlando, FL.
Miami has been led this season by sophomore Alex Brutvan (Boca Raton, FL) who has been the Hurricanes' top finisher in all three events. Brutvan was the top collegiate finisher, fourth overall, at the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish Invitational on August 30, and won the FIU Invitational on September 13. The Hurricanes swept the top-7 spots to win both events.
