Cols Colas is in his seventh year at the University of Miami as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. He works primarily with the football, women's tennis, diving and women's track & field programs.
Before arriving in Coral Gables, he was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater Virginia Tech from 2003-05.
Colas was a four-year lettermen as a defensive end for the Hokies' football team from 1999-2003. He earned a bachelor's degree in residential property management with minors in business and real estate from Virginia Tech in 2003, and added a master's degree in health promotion in 2004.
Colas is married to the former Megan Rittler.
