Shaquana Wilkins started 20-of-30 games...She averaged 8.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game...She scored in double digits 11 times and recorded three double-doubles...Scored her career-high 14 rebounds in the win over William & Mary (12/28/02) and versus Connecticut (2/19/03)...She dished out four assists against Maryland (12/29/02 and versus New Mexico (3/22/03)...She also had 13 rebounds against Morris Brown (11/25/02) and 11 twice against Florida Atlantic (12/16/02) and versus Maryland (12/29/02)...She had three blocked shots against Florida Atlantic (12/16/02) and at Pittsburgh (1/22/03)...She had three steals at FIU (12/14/02) and versus Florida Atlantic (12/16/02)...She shot a .727 (8-11) field goal percentage at FIU (12/14/02) and .727 (8-11 from the free-throw line against Eastern Michigan (12/21/02).

Shaquana Wilkins made tremendous improvements in all aspects of her game last season...She played in all 31 games, starting in 24...She led the team with 6.0 rebounds per game and averaged 8.7 points per game...She scored in double-digits in 14 games...She ranked fifth in the BIG EAST with seven double-doubles...She led the team in scoring in four games and led in rebounding in eight...She scored a career and season-high of 26 points in the win over Syracuse (1/16/02) and a career-high of 14 rebounds in the win over Georgetown (2/13/02) and the loss to FIU (2/16/02)...She earned her first BIG EAST honor after averaging 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in a pair of conference wins for the Hurricanes...Wilkins earned BIG EAST Player of the Week after scoring a career-high 26 points on 11-of-17 field goals and added 10 rebounds off of the bench in a 75-71 overtime victory against Syracuse (1/16/02)...In a 56-54 win over Seton Hall (1/19/02), Wilkins netted 15 points to go along with 11 rebounds, three blocks and three steals...She was an award candidate for the BIG EAST Most Improved Player Award...She was named Miami's Most Improved Player at the women's basketball banquet.

She appeared in 26 games...averaged 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game...she scored a season best of 11 points against Rutgers, West Virginia and in the BIG EAST tournament game against Boston College...also grabbed 10 rebounds in the game against Rutgers in 25 minutes of action...

Shaquana Wilkins started at center and led her team to a 21-8 season her senior year...she averaged 16.5 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocks...was named to the Lake Brantley all-tournament team...team captain and team most valuable player for two years...made first-team all-conference, all-district and all-state...top 25 player in the state...named to the Kissimmee Shootout All-Tournament team...

Why I chose Miami: I chose Miami because it is a private school, the classes are small and the city is great.
My First impression of Miami: International, lots of cultures. That's why I like it so much.
My favorite athlete, why? Shaq because he gets down to business and knows what he wants.
My favorite sports memory: Playing in the Lake Brantley shootout with four girls every week until we won the championship.
Any superstitions before games: I have to make a free throw during warm up.
What are your goals at Miami both in sports and outside sports? I want to have four great years of the best college experience on and off the court, so I can say, "I did it".
