EUGENE, Ore. University of Miami’s Khadija Talley finished in 10th place in the discus at the U.S. Olympic Trials at the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field.

The recently graduated Columbus, Ga. native hit a mark of 53.49m, second among collegiate throwers.

Talley is the school record holder in the discus with a throw of 57.10m, set earlier this season.  She currently is second on the list for the shot put at 17.02m.  Talley will be competing in the shot put trials on Thursday, July 3 at 9:20 p.m.
