Policies and Procedures for requesting a Donation of Tickets
Policy:
1. Donation must benefit the local community, the people of the state of Florida or a related Alumni organization.
2. Out of state requests will be denied unless it directly relates to the University of Miami. The athletic department will not incur mailing costs.
3. Only one donation per organization per year.
4. Away game and post season tickets are not available.
5. Charitable organizations that benefit ONLY children 9th grade and above are not eligible to receive donations from Miami Athletics.
6. Corporations (for-profit businesses) are not eligible to receive a donation.
Procedures:
1. All requests must be in writing to the Community Relations Office. Do not send additional requests to head coach or other areas within the athletic department.
2. Request must include:

a. Name of organization requesting donation.
b. Item being requested.
c. The date the item is needed.
d. Purpose of item (e.g. auction, raffle, etc.).
e. Who will benefit from the proceeds (for example, elderly, individuals with disabilities, etc.).
f. List age range of group benefiting.
g. Contact name, address and phone number.
3. Must provide a minimum of 4 weeks notice or request will not be fulfilled.
4. All requests will receive a response.
5. The Compliance Office must review all donation requests and approve, in accordance with NCAA rules, before any action is taken.
